我是一個執業建築師,但繪畫一直是我的興趣。10年前開始重拾畫筆,2023.02.18於臺北首都藝術中心舉辦人生首次的個人畫展。此次也是首次參與美術競賽,也是首次的入圍,非常榮幸!

◎創作理念

作品〈回望叢林-孤獨的儀式〉孤獨,是偉大城市的必然本質?與其自憐自怨,不如歡喜面對!灰白人,等距、儀式的由都市叢林出走...低頭背對叢林,狀似怨歎老婦,其實是在童心玩腳上的鞋,「彩色」就回來了。抬頭回望叢林,狀似不甘遊民,當他願意脫下帽T遮掩,也開始扯腳趾時,一切的色彩也漸漸回來……。

作品〈城市逃脫〉城市俘虜悄悄騰空脫逃;十字架的姿勢,彩色的內褲。地上游泳的影子,也在脫逃,也在擺脫十字架的束縛,都想著掙脫後的自由與安寧……。

作品〈寶島曼波〉臺灣人用一種很「南國」的氛圍,氣定神閒的豎起順風耳、凸起千里眼、伸長脖子至無限…悠閒的沉浸在無腦視聽的幸福八卦網路,一種與世斷訊且無爭的新樂園。

The work " Gazing Back at the Jungle - Solitary Ritual" questions whether solitude is an inevitable essence of great cities. Instead of succumbing to self-pity, it advocates embracing solitude with joy. The gray-white figures, spaced evenly, ceremonially exit the urban jungle. With their heads down and backs turned to the jungle, they appear to lament like old women but are actually playing with the shoes on their feet. As they look back at the jungle, they seem reluctant, yet as they remove their hoodies and begin to fiddle with their toes, colors gradually return, symbolizing a renewed sense of vitality and hope.

In "Urban Escape," city captives are depicted quietly floating away in a crucifix posture, wearing colorful underwear. Their shadows also escape, shedding the constraints of the cross and seeking freedom and peace after breaking free.

"Treasure Island Mambo" portrays Taiwanese people in a "southern" atmosphere, leisurely raising keen ears, bulging eyes, and stretching their necks indefinitely. They immerse themselves in the blissful gossip of mindless audiovisual entertainment, creating a new paradise of disconnected, conflict-free existence.
