◎創作理念
《未定的棲地島》系列靈感來自於參與民俗活動「乞龜」的經驗，透過龜形意象隱喻生命中的過渡樣態，無論是棲地間的轉換，擺盪海洋與陸地，還是從信仰角度觀想，塵俗與上蒼，「龜」的角色就像擺渡人，在不同場域、時空穿梭位移，藉由生態棲地與龜祭信仰，映照處於中介、模糊、未定的感受。
每個人的生命階段總會經歷過渡，進入閾限掙扎游移，使失序的狀態再度回歸平衡，過程就像漂流在浮島，未能抵達彼岸的徬徨，生命總是以不同形式進入中介時空，使我們釐清自身的脈絡。
我透過原子筆的反覆描繪去對照「過渡」形同日常一般的狀態，再以類似真菌孢子的有機體彰顯「乞龜」文化的供品繁殖特性，象徵信仰與生命在宏大的宇宙觀中循環且生生不息。
Inspired by the experiences of participating in the folkloric activity "begging for turtles", the series "The Undefined Habitat Island" metaphorically reflects the transition in life through the imagery of turtles. The " turtle" functions as a ferryman, traveling from place to place, and from time to time to reflect the intermediary, ambiguous, and undefined sensations through various ecological habitats and turtle-worship rituals.
Each individual phase of life invariably undergoes a transition and enters a threshold of struggle, bringing the chaotic state into balance again, in a process that is analogous to the uncertainty of drifting on a floating island and yet to reach the other shore, life constantly assumes various forms and enters a mediated space-time, allowing us to clarify our own context.
Through repetitive strokes created by utilizing ballpoint pens, I contrasted the "transition" with a state of routine day to day normality, followed by an organic body resembling a fungal spore to highlight the reproductive characteristics of the "begging for turtles" culture, symbolizing the cycle of faith and life in the grand cosmology.
